Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the quotation, sale, and delivery of structural steel products by RLG Ispat to our B2B customers. By requesting a quote or confirming an order, the Buyer agrees to these commercial conditions.

1. Scope & B2B Orders

All transactions initiated via this website are purely B2B (Business-to-Business) industrial supply enquiries. Order quantities are quoted case by case based on product specifications, grade, availability, yard or mill packing, freight economics, and delivery location. We reserve the right to decline inquiries that fall below minimum tonnage requirements or outside our logistical scope.

2. Quotation Validity & Price Fluctuations

Due to the extreme volatility of iron ore, coal, and primary steel market rates, all pricing matrix quotes issued by our Raipur sales desk are valid for a strict **24 Hours** from the date and time of issuance unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing. If an order is not financially secured within this window, prices are subject to revision without prior notice to reflect current mill replacement costs.

3. Payment Terms & Order Locking

To lock in pricing and secure material allocation from rolling heat numbers, standard terms require an advance deposit (percentage defined per order). The balance payment must be cleared prior to dispatch and loading at the weighbridge. Specific terms include:

• No Credit Without Agreement: Dispatch will not commence until clear funds are received for the respective lot, unless a prior corporate credit line has been formally approved.
• Taxes & Duties: All quotes are exclusive of GST, which will be charged as applicable at the time of dispatch.

4. Dispatch, Freight & Demurrage

While RLG Ispat assists in arranging logistics through certified freight partners, the physical transit risk is governed by the agreed Incoterms (typically EXW or FOR). Key logistical terms:

• Demurrage Charges: If unloading at the Buyer's site is delayed beyond the standard allocated time (typically 24 hours), transport demurrage charges will be billed to the Buyer's account.
• Site Access: It is the Buyer's responsibility to ensure the delivery site has adequate access for heavy multi-axle trailers and appropriate lifting equipment (cranes/hydras).
• Transit Insurance: Unless explicitly included in a FOR quote, transit insurance is the responsibility of the Buyer.

5. Material Tolerances & Weight Basis

Steel rolling is a heavy industrial process subject to inherent manufacturing variances.

• Rolling Margins: Materials are supplied subject to standard IS (Indian Standard) rolling tolerances regarding thickness, width, length, and straightness.
• Billing Weight: Unless specifically agreed as "Theoretical Weight" (Sectional Weight), all billing is conducted strictly on an **Actual Weighment** basis generated by an authorized weighbridge prior to dispatch.

6. Quality Disputes & Testing

Eligible structural sections are supplied with heat number details and authentic Mill Test Certificates (MTC) from the relevant manufacturer or mill source. Any quality disputes, dimensional rejections, or grade discrepancies must be logged in writing with accompanying photographic evidence and third-party laboratory testing results within **7 Business Days** of material unloading at the site. Claims raised after material has been cut, welded, painted, or altered will not be entertained.

7. Limitation of Liability

RLG Ispat shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to project delays, loss of profit, or labor downtime resulting from transit delays, mill rolling delays, or material rejections. Our maximum liability is strictly limited to the replacement of defective material or a refund of the invoice value for the disputed quantity.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These transactional conditions and all industrial steel supply sales are governed by the commercial laws of India. Legal jurisdiction for any disputes or litigation lies solely and exclusively with the competent courts in **Raipur, Chhattisgarh**.
